Footage has emerged online of Suede debuting new song, ‘What I’m Trying To Tell You’, Gigwise reports.
The band celebrate their 25th anniversary this year, though their time together includes a seven year hiatus from 2003 to 2010. In 2013, over a decade after their fifth album, A New Morning, was released, Suede released a sixth album, Bloodsports.
They’ve now previewed material from their forthcoming seventh album, which is due for release at some point this year. First came a performance of ‘I Don’t Know How To Reach You’ at a benefit show, and now comes ‘What I’m Trying To Tell You’ at London’s Brixton Academy as part of the 2015 NME Awards - where they were given the Godlike Genius Award.
Suede’s Brixton set also included classics such as ‘Animal Nitrate’, ‘Trash’ and ‘Filmstar’.
