OSCE Chairman, Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic expressed concern over the situation in Nagorno Karabakh in his report at a UN Security Council meeting, Vestnik Kavkaza reports.

"Recent developments in Karabakh give me particular concern. Despite last year's talks between Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders, we are witnessing dramatic deterioration of the situation and slowdown of the negotiating process."

As he further noted, during its OSCE charmanship, Serbia will continue to support the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to promote negotiation and find a solution to the Karabakh conflict.

"I discussed the situation with the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers and intend to continue my efforts during the meetings with heads of states at my upcoming visit to the region," the OSCE chair said.
