At that Ghoukassian noted that NK participation is necessary not only to the NKR itself, but also the settlement process on the whole. "Sooner or later NK will take part in the talks without fail, as the problem cannot be solved without taking into account the opinion of the NKR people. When will this happen?.. I do not think Azerbaijan is ready to dialogue with NK today. Azerbaijan avoids talks with us, as the Azeri position is destructive," Arkady Ghoukassian said. When answering a question on holding a repeated referendum over the NK status, the President noted that the referendum was already held in NK and its returns are clear to everyone. "If we had guarantees that the international community will recognize tomorrow's referendum, we would think over it," the NKR President said, reports IA Regnum.
