EU membership perspective is the strongest stimulus, urging Turkey to continue reforms, US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Matthew Bryza stated at a briefing in Washington. In his words, the US is not an EU member, and actually it is not America's business, who joins it. «However, our goal is to continue democratic and economic reforms in Turkey, which are difficult from the political point of view. Holding such reforms is a difficult task for any government and we hope that Turkey will continue their realization.
