Sony Pictures' "Hotel Transylvania 2" fantasy comedy teaser

Sony Pictures has debuted a teaser trailer for "Hotel Transylvania 2", the sequel to 2012's hit animated movie "Hotel Transylvania". While it doesn't shed light on the plot, the video does give a glimpse of Count Dracula's life after he approved of his daughter Mavis' relationship with Jonathan, who is a human, AceShowbiz reports.

Drac is now a grandfather and in the snippet he is seen trying to teach his grandson how to fly. Drac and some other monsters climb a high tower in the night. After arriving at the top, he lets the little boy fall in hopes that he'll fly, disregarding Frankenstein's notion that he's half-human.

n "Hotel Transylvania 2", Dracula, Mavis, Jonathan and all of their monster friends prepare for the arrival of the old-old-old-fashioned vampire Vlad at the hotel for an impromptu family get-together, which results in a comic collision of supernatural old-school and modern day cool.

Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, Fran Drescher and David Spade return to the voice cast, with Mel Brooks lending his voice to the new character, Vlad. Genndy Tartakovsky is back on the helm.

The fantasy comedy movie will hit U.S. theaters on September 25.
