Muse have unveiled new single 'Dead Inside', Digital Spy reports.

The track is taken from their seventh studio album Drones, which is released on June 8.

Frontman Matt Bellamy previously explained the concept behind the album, saying: "To me, Drones are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse. The world is run by Drones utilising Drones to turn us all into Drones."

Muse revealed their track 'Psycho' earlier this month, which Bellamy described as "too offensive for radio".

The band previously unveiled the tracklist from Drones which has been co-produced by Mutt Lange.

Muse recently completed a mini-tour of the UK in support of Drones, where they treated fans to performances of 'Psycho', 'Dead Inside' and fellow new song 'Reapers'.

The band released their last album The 2nd Law in 2012.
