Azerbaijan’s armed forces shelled the Nagorno Karabakh line of contact overnight, targeting Armenian villages and defense positions, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense said.

“There was gunfire, though not critical,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Tert.am.

According to Tert.am, the adversary also opened gunfire on villagers working in vineyards in the Tavush region on Monday, April 6 morning. The report was later confirmed by Varuzhan Baghmanyan, the governor of the community Choratan.

No deaths or injuries were reported.
