Sony's Ultra Short Throw projector will turn your wall into a 147-inch 4K cinema screen - providing you have a spare $50,000 lying around, Digital Spy reports.

The hardware includes the company's Laser Light Source technology to ensure maximum brightness at the highest resolution, and features an aesthetic design.

The Ultra Short Throw projector is not limited to entertainment content, with users able to beam artwork onto their walls to enhance the room.

It is designed to take up as little space as possible, sitting in close proximity to the wall the user wishes to project imagery against.

Sony claims that the projector lamps it has used for the Ultra Short Throw projector will last up to ten times longer than those found in rival hardware.
