Over the last two years, Russia succeeded in drawing attention to the principles of the international law including that of people's right for self-determination mentioned in the UN regulations, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

As Lavrov stressed, Russia is ready to cooperate with all the states on the basis of equality and mutual respect, as well as a balance of interests, RIA Novosti reports.
