Eurasian Economic Union planning to adopt antimonopoly code

Eurasian Economic Union is planning to develop and adopt an antimonopoly code, BelTA learned from Alexander Kurilchik, Deputy Director of the Antimonopoly Regulation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, on May 12.

“If we consider plans for 2015, the main thing we plan to accomplish is the development and adoption of the Antimonopoly Code of the Eurasian Economic Union,” said the official.

Alexander Kurilchik stressed that the improvement of antimonopoly regulations is the key task of antimonopoly efforts in 2015. “Apart from that, we are supposed to prepare a report for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on the state of competition on transboundary markets and measures taken to suppress violations,” he explained.
