Drone camera takes selfies to new heights

Many drones with cameras attached have taken off in tech in recent years but the new self-flying "throw and shoot" product from Lily is looking to re-invent the idea, Digital Spy reports.

Using a tracking device, the drone follows you around with no need for controls and will start shooting a new video from the moment it's thrown in the air.

"Lily is the world's first throw-and-shoot camera. It lets anyone create cinematic footage previously reserved for professional filmmakers," said the company.

"Lily is waterproof, ultra-portable, and shoots stunning HD pictures and videos."
