Microsoft "working on chat app for iPhone"

Microsoft's next iPhone project appears to be a chat app called Flow, Digital Spy reports.

Details about the software were posted on Twitter after somebody at Microsoft uploaded them on a publicly accessible website.

Flow will be deeply integrated with the Outlook app for iOS and allow users to engage in "fast, fluid, natural conversation".

The app sounds somewhat similar to Skype Qik, a stripped-down version of the popular chat programme that was released for Android devices last year.

Last week, Microsoft launched its Hyperlapse app for Android and Windows Phone devices, bringing shake-free video to both platforms.

The company is yet to officially confirm that it is working on Flow for iPhone.
