Colin Trevorrow won’t be directing any “Jurassic World” sequels

Colin Trevorrow has suggested that he will not be directing any Jurassic World sequels, Digital Spy reports.

Speaking to Italian website BadTaste (via Coming Soon), the director compared the film franchise to Star Wars, saying that different directors can bring "a different taste".

"Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie," Trevorrow said.

He added: "I would be involved in some way, but not as director."

Jurassic World acts as a direct sequel to Jurassic Park and stars Chris Pratt as raptor trainer Owen, who leads a rescue mission for tourists trapped in the revamped theme park after a genetically modified dinosaur goes on a rampage.

Bryce Dallas Howard also stars alongside BD Wong, Vincent D'Onofrio and Jake Johnson.
