Instagram launches redesigned profile pages

A new-look Instagram has arrived with redesigned profile pages, Digital Spy reports.

The Facebook-owned photo-sharing service is cleaning up its web version with new feeds and hashtag pages so they run faster.

Instagram said that the redesign would be "coming this week", although some profiles have already been updated.

The most noticeable change is that everything is larger on the profile pages, now displaying three bigger images per row instead of five. Meanwhile, borders and rounded edges have all but disappeared from sight, in a clear move towards simplicity.

Instagram recently started to send users email Highlights, giving members a brief rundown of what they are missing on the platform.
