“Game of Thrones” Season 5 soundtrack unveiled

The soundtrack for Game of Thrones season 5 is now available, as viewers mourn the end of the run and reel from the shocking finale, Digital Spy reports.

The album is available digitally, with a CD copy released July 17.

Ramin Djawadi (Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Person of Interest) - who composed the music in all the previous seasons - has returned for the score of season 5.

True Detective Music from the HBO Series is also available for pre-order ahead of the show's return to HBO in the US on Sunday at 9pm ET, with a UK simulcast planned for Monday, June 22 at 2am

The soundtrack contains music from seasons one and two, and will be released August 14.

It is said to have a more electric sound than the previous soundtrack's roots rock tracks and classic songs, and has been produced by T-Bone Burnett.

Those who pre-order will automatically receive Lera Lynn's 'The Only Thing Worth Fighting For', which features in the teaser trailer for the show's second season.
