Apple Watch owners can now control Hyundai car using their voice

It took more than three decades, but the technology behind Knight Rider is becoming a reality as Apple Watch owners who drive a Hyundai can now control their vehicle using their voice, according to Digital Spy.

Hyundai's Blue Link app for the wearable device allows users to start their engine, lock their doors, activate their headlights and more via vocal commands.

Motorists can also locate their car and call for roadside assistance from their wrist.

You'll feel just like David Hasselhoff when uttering commands like "start my car" or "find my car", and that's no bad thing.

A Blue Link subscription and compatible vehicle are required to use the app. It works with all Blue Link-equipped cars, dating back to the 2012 Sonata.

Android Wear users gained access to the same features when Hyundai launched the app for devices running the Google operating system earlier this year.
