130 companies to participate in DigiTec 2015

The 11th DigiTec Expo will be held in Yerevan, October 2-4, with 130 local and international companies participating and around 40,000 visitors expected to attend.

Representatives of the leading companies from Taiwan, China, Belarus and Ukraine, as well as the Diaspora’s technological community are expected to arrive.

This year's DigiTec differs greatly from those of the previous years. Iranian organizations are also interested in the expo: they consider Armenia to be “an effective gateway to the Russian market,” executive director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), organizer of the exhibition, Karen Vardanyan said.

DigiLife seminars, exhibitions of robots and computer games, workshops and other events will be held.

DigiTec Expo is an international High-Tech exhibition which has already become a traditional annual event. The first DigiTec exhibition was held in Yerevan in 2005, and has been organized every autumn under the auspices of the RA government since.

DigiTec Expo aims to create a favorable environment for networking among technological companies, business consumers and the society, as well as expend international relations.
