Panasonic unveils 65-inch 4K TV at IFA

The centrepiece of Panasonic's IFA press conference was the stunning 65-inch 4K OLED Viera TX-65CZ950 television, according to Digital Spy.

Pronouncing its full name may be a mouthful, but the set comes fully approved by Hollywood and promises to shine thanks to the inclusion of Panasonic's 4K Pro tech.

Oblivion cinematographer Mike Sowa was on hand to sing the TV's praises on stage at the Germany event, hailing its industry-standard colour reproduction.

"My world of visual storytelling is based around colour accuracy and the need for a display that complements the creative vision," he said.

"Panasonic has engineered their newest 4K Pro OLED TV to a standard that I would only expect in professional displays."

Panasonic is yet to announce pricing or a release date for the TX-65CZ950, but don't expect it to come cheap, Digital Spy said.
