Helena Bonham Carter has signed up for a starring role on BBC's "Love, Nina". A five-part fictionalized series, the title is Nick Hornby's adaptation of Nina Stibe's book of the same name, according to AceShowbiz.

The book is compiled of Stibbe's letters to her sister after she moved to London in 1980s to work as a nanny to two opinionated and lively young boys. Stibbe described her trials and triumphs that often include hilarious issues such as failed attempts at parking the family car.

"Nina Stibbe's book 'Love, Nina' has already established itself as a much-loved piece of comic writing and I love it," Hornby said. "Her observations and worldview were the inspiration for a show that we think captures the same spirit. It's been a joy to write and we're thrilled with the quality of our cast."

S.J. Clarkson, who worked with Carter in TV movie "Toast", is directing the show. "It's a joy to be working with Helena again and even more so to be collaborating on such wonderful material and with such a talented ensemble," said Clarkson.

Joining Carter in the cast list are Faye Marsay as Nina the nanny, Jason Watkins as author Malcolm Tanner, and Joshua McGuire as Nina's on-/off-boyfriend Nunney. Carter will be playing Georgia the mother of the two young boys, Joe and Max.

Filming begins this month in London. The series will be comprised of five 30-minute long episodes.
