EP Vice-President: Armenia to benefit from any agreement with EU

Any agreement signed with the EU will allow Armenian authorities to balance between Moscow and Brussels, Vice-President of the European Parliament (EP), Ryszard Czarnecki said.

“Armenia should sign this document, as the country will benefit from any agreement with the EU,” Czarnecki said, according to Tert.am.

Earlier, Luxembourg’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn said the European Union is preparing a new version of agreements with Armenia, which will bind the country and the EU far less than the association agreement.
