Sony has expanded its camera line-up with the launch of a new S model snapper that can shoot high-quality stills or 4K video in any light, according to Digital Spy.
The Sony a7S II compact system camera has a huge ISO range of 50-409,600, thanks to its 35mm full-frame 12.2-megapixel sensor and the BIONZ X processing unit.
The sensor optimises the dynamic range while the processor reduces noise - so users can get results even when the lighting is poor.
The camera also includes five-axis optical image stabilisation, 169 points of autofocus, an XGA OLED viewfinder, a, 3-inch TFT screen, and WiFi and NFC connectivity.
Sony's a7S II is one for the video enthusiasts, supporting 4K shooting at 30 frames per second or 1080p recording at up to 120 frames per second.
The interchangeable lens snapper will launch in the UK this November, with pricing yet to be announced.
