Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet on September 24-25 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Azeri Foreign Minister said, according to RFE/RL Armenian Service.

According to Elmar Mammadyarov, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs will first hold separate consultations with the Ministers, followed by the joint meeting.

“Ceasefire violations have become more frequent lately. I hope the meeting will result in something certain,” Mammadyarov told a press conference. “Russia has specified its policies on the issue: Sergey Lavrov arrived in Azerbaijan, and I, in turn, visited Moscow.”
