Luke Bracey goes undercover in “Point Break” action film trailer

A new trailer for action movie "Point Break" has surfaced online. The film follows a young FBI agent named Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), an extreme sportsman, who goes undercover to investigate unusual crimes performed by a group of thrill-seeking adventurers led by Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez), AceShowbiz reports.

While the previous trailer highlights the relationship between Utah and Bodhi, the new trailer gives a new idea about the group attempting to perform Robin Hood-like crimes. "They're attempting something called 'The Ozaki 8'. It's a series of eight ordeals that honor the forces of nature," Utah explains.

"Point Break" is a remake based on Kathryn Bigelow's 1991 classic starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. While Bigelow's story only focused on surfing, the remake includes some other extreme sports such as big-wave surfing, wingsuit flying, sheer-face snowboarding, free rock climbing and high-speed motorcycling. "These stunts were performed by real people and many of them performed for the very first time," Ramirez revealed. "A lot of people put their lives on the line for this film."

Ericson Core directs while Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, John Baldecchi, Chris Taylor and Kurt Wimmer produce the movie. Also in the cast are Ray Winstone, Teresa Palmer and Delroy Lindo. The remake is due to arrive in the U.S. on December 25.
