1st look at Daniel Radcliffe as FBI agent in "Imperium"

Daniel Radcliffe underwent a makeover to portray an undercover FBI agent in "Imperium". The first still from the Daniel Ragussis-directed thriller shows Radcliffe with shaved head, camouflage shirt and a grim expression, AceShowbiz reports.

"Imperium" follows Radcliffe as a young FBI agent named Nate Foster who goes undercover to find and stop white supremacists trying to make a dirty bomb. It was based on the experiences of former FBI agent Michael German who co-wrote the film's script with Ragussis. This would be Ragussis' first time directing a feature film.

Production started earlier this month in several locations in Virginia. Charlie Dane, assistant city manager in Hopewell, said filming likely could run through October 7 at locations throughout the city.

Radcliffe is so far the only cast announced for the film. Since completing "Harry Potter" series in 2011, he had kept a low profile and made a cameo in recent movie "Trainwreck". He will next share screen with James McAvoy in Paul McGuigan's "Victor Frankenstein".
