As it is known, Senator Varuzhan Voskanyan, who is simultaneously the head of the National Union of Armenians of Romania, is appointed Romanian Representative to the Eurocommission. This circumstance caused Ankara's concern as just initiated by Varuzhan Voskanyan Romania will become a Eurocommission member in January 2007, as well as April 24 in Romania is announced Day of Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide. Eurocommission President Manuel Barroso in person contributed to appointment of Varuzhan Voskanyan, reports the Azg.
