OnePlus has opened up about its plans to launch another smartphone this year, hinting that its next handset will be geared towards fashion-conscious users, Digital Spy reports.
The head of the company's India division Vikas Agarwal told the Economic Times that the new device will be a lifestyle and fashion product with mid-range specs.
Although the mystery phone appears to have developing markets like India in its sights, Agarwal confirmed that it will see a global launch.
His comments line up neatly with remarks from OnePlus CEO Carl Pei, who said that the new phone is aimed at "a different type of audience, perhaps for those who appreciate design over specs".
A phone dubbed the OnePlus Mini was recently leaked online - rocking a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 13-megapixel camera - but it is unclear whether this is the device in question.
OnePlus currently has its hands full with the fallout from the OnePlus 2 launch after admitting that its invitation-only orders policy has caused heavy shipping delays.
