Azerbaijani troops, stationed in Nakhijevan, on Thursday, October 1, at around 10:30 p.m. attempted to infiltrate the Armenian-Azeri border in its south-western section near Yeraskh.

Having noticed the rival's actions, Armenian forces took retaliatory measures, repelling the Azerbaijani troops.

Following the infiltration attempt, the Armenian Defense Ministry declared that Azerbaijan’s attempts to escalate the situation on the border with Armenia near Nakhijevan will be severely punished.
