By End of December There Will Be No Russian Servicemen in Georgia
By the end of December there will be no servicemen of the Russian army in Tbilisi garrison, Commander of the Troops of the North-Caucasian Military District Alexander Baranov stated at a news conference Thursday. "This withdrawal was additionally planned, as serving in the territory of the garrison is impossible under the current conditions," Baranov said. In his words, the plan of the withdrawal is coordinated and it reported to the commander-in-chief of land forces. Baranov explained that up to 100 units of equipment and 350 tons of materiel are planned to be withdrawn. "Two echelons will be sent to Russia, another two - to the 102nd military base, located in Armenia," Baranov specified, reports RIA Novosti.
