Armenian Genocide. Turks Going to Hold Mass Protest Action in Paris
The Turkish Labor Party jointly with some other patriotic organizations initiated a protest action in front of the French Consulate in Istanbul. Party Secretary General Dogu Perincek stated that "the so-called Armenian Genocide is the tale of imperialistic forces which are trying to use the subject in their predatory plans." He said the party leaders are going to hold a mass protest action in Paris on November 21. The action participants will call on France 'not to become a marionette of the U.S. near-east plans.'

Dogu Perincek called on the leaders of political parties to take part in the action and also render a news conference in Paris on November 21. Describing Orhan Pamuk's Nobel Prize as 'a fee for treason' he said Turkey faces dangerous events. Perincek also called on the political forces to continue protest actions until France cancels the law penalizing the Armenian Genocide denial, reports Trend news agency.
