VivaCell-MTS allocates 10 workstations to kids’ camp

VivaCell-MTS has provided 10 workstations to the Gugark children’s camp to give the children an opportunity of having computer literacy classes.

Located in the town of Vahagnadzor, Lori, the camp was opened 57 years ago, hosting about 1200 children aged 7-16 each year, mostly coming from Armenian border villages.

“Computer skills are nowadays essential for studying, researching and keeping in touch with friends,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said. “Establishing a computer class will help children communicate with their peers from other regions and simultaneously attend a short introductory computer literacy course.”

VivaCell-MTS works to contribute to the development of rural areas and border villages, in particular. As a leader of ICT sector, the Company has always supported various educational programs by providing financial, methodological, and technical support.
