September 2-5 the final, third stage of "Combatant Commonwealth-2003" joint exercise of the air defense troops of the CIS countries will be held. Representatives of air forces of Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will demonstrate their mastery. Defense ministers of the participant countries will observe the actions of the troops, "ITAR-TASS" Russian agency reports. The air force exercise of the seven CIS countries began June 15 and have a common program of three stages at four grounds of Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. As reported by the Headquarters of the Russian air forces, "training and use of air forces in anti-terrorist operations and local armed conflicts are being worked through at the maneuvers."
