Safarov Got Conditional 8-Month Sentence in Addition to Life Sentence
The trial on the case of Ramil Safarov over the claim laid by jailers was held yesterday at Pesht Central Court. Judge Tot Tendeshun chaired the hearing. According to the Azeri Embassy in Hungary, Embassy officers participated in the hearing as well. After hearing the testimony of two witnesses, the state prosecutor stated in his half-an-hour speech that Safarov is indicted for resistance to officers and inflicting bodily injuries. Safarov got an 8-month suspended sentence in compliance with the Hungarian Criminal Code, reports APA.

R. Safarov was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder of Armenian Army officer Gurgen Margaryan in Hungary.
