Azeri troops open fire during previously damaged truck recovery

An attempt was made on Friday, November 6, to remove a truck from border areas that was shelled by Azerbaijani troops on November 5 on an interstate highway near the villages of Voskepar andBaghanis in Armenia’s Tavush Province.

The Azeri armed forces opened fire on a KrAZ truck that was used to remove the previously damaged truck from the driveway.

The Baghanis-Voskepar main highway is now closed to traffic, Aravot.am reports.

Azerbaijani army shelled the villages of Voskevan and Baghanis of Armenia’s Tavush Province on Thursday, November 5.

Armenian armed forces took retaliatory measures to silence the attacks, a Defense Ministry representative told PanARMENIAN.Net

The Ministry refuted reports of Azerbaijan having pushed forward military equipment.

Also, on the same day, Azerbaijani armed forces shelled a truck on an interstate highway near Baghanis. According to the village chief Narek Sahakyan, the engine and wheels of the truck were damaged; the Ossetian truck driver, however, was unharmed.
