Armenia men’s team wins silver at European Chess Championship

Armenia men’s team became a runner-up at the European Team Chess Championship on Sunday, November 22, the Chess Federation of Armenia reports.

Russia’s both men’s and women’s teams won the Iceland-hosted competition, with Armenia women’s team finishing 11th.

Armenia, Hungary and France men’s teams shared the second place, with Armenia and Hungary winning the silver and bronze, respectively, according to the tie-break.

The European Team Chess Championships were held from November 12-22, 2015, at the historic Laugardalshöll in Reykjavik, Iceland.
