Armenian diplomatic missions operate normally in Brussels

Armenian diplomatic representations proceed with their regular activities in Brussels, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said in a tweet.

“Armenia’s embassy in the country, the EU and NATO missions, all headquartered in Brussels, are operating normally,” Tigran Balayan said.

Belgium's capital entered a security lockdown Saturday, November 21, as the government warned of a threat of a repeat of Paris-style attacks, with subways in Brussels closed and heavily armed police and soldiers deployed.

Belgian police arrested 16 people in late-night raids searching for those behind the deadly November 13 attacks in Paris, but failed to find a prime suspect as the government locked down the capital for a third day on Monday.
