Satya Bhabha has landed a role in indie comedy “Dude” opposite Lucy Hale, TheWrap has learned.

The coming of age film also stars Alexandra Shipp, Kathryn Prescott and Nora Lum and follows a quartet of best friends navigating the final two weeks of high school.

Bhabha will play the role of Mr. Bemis, a hot teacher one of the girls develops a crush on.

Olivia Milch is directing.

Bhabha, who recurred on “New Girl” and “Key & Peele” and recently wrapped an untitled TBS pilot from Matt Fogel and Todd Strauss-Schulson.

His big screen credits include indie “Miss India America” and Deepa Mehta’s “Midnight’s Children.”
