The Game Awards to host 10 world premieres

The Game Awards, which takes place on December 3, will host 10 world premieres, according to vid game journalist and presenter Geoff Keighley, Digital Spy reports.

The presenter promised that fans could expect a lot of new announcements to come their way next week, tweeting: "10 world premieres. 10 on-stage awards. @thegameawards 2015 next Thursday night live."

While "world premieres" is a rather broad term, meaning it could be anything from new game trailers to actual announcements, it does also hold a promise of something big.

After all, Skyrim was famously announced at the show in 2010, back when it was called the VGAs.

This year's most prolific game at The Game Awards is The Witcher 3, which has six nominations, including Game of the Year.

Meanwhile Donna Burke, the voice behind the Metal Gear Solid V theme tune, has publicly asked Keighley if she can perform the track at the event.
