Instagram have revealed their most followed and most mentioned artists, as well as the most dedicated fanbases and most mentioned songs. Taylor Swift, One Direction and Justin Bieber, unsurprisingly, have topped one of the lists, Gigwise said.

Swift has snatched perhaps the most significant title - she's the most followed musician on Instagram, followed by Selena Gomez, Beyonce and Ariana Grande. She's only the fifth most popular when it comes to mentions though - she's been beaten in that department by Justin Bieber, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, who took the No.1 spot.

As for the most popular songs - Justin Bieber's topped that one too. Who'd have thought, half a decade after 'Baby', that he'd still have such influence? 'What Do You Mean' is the most mentioned song, shortly followed by Selena Gomez's 'Good For You' and Adele's 'Hello'.
