Duran Duran to tour across U.S. next summer

Duran Duran will tour across the U.S. next summer with special guest Chic and Nile Rodgers. The tour will run from March through August, with Chic joining in April during the band's Tampa date. The 28-date tour will end on August 3rd in Glendale, Arizona. Tickets will go on sale on December 12th, Rolling Stone said.

This year, the rock band released their 14th album, Paper Gods, which featured a guest spot from Rodgers alongside Mark Ronson, Lindsay Lohan, Janelle Monae, Kiesza and more. In October, one month after the release of Paper Gods, Duran Duran played a few West Coast dates with Chic in support of the LP, which was the highest-charting for the band in 22 years.

"The schizophrenia is getting worse," keyboardist Nick Rhodes told Rolling Stone in August. "A lot of artists get into a comfort zone. They know what works. For us, that's the least comfortable zone, the comfort zone. We like to torture ourselves a little bit."

Over the course of this year, Rodgers and Chic have collaborated and performed with the likes of Lady Gaga, Keith Urban and Charli XCX.
