Samsung Galaxy S7 cases land online, reveal design

A range of Samsung Galaxy S7 accessories have gone on sale despite the phone not yet having been announced, Digital Spy reports.

Jumping the gun by a good couple of months, the folks over at Mobile Fun have started flogging a range of Olixar-made Samsung Galaxy S7 cases.

While this is more than a little ridiculous, what's interesting is that the third-party accessory maker has clearly been handed early schematics and renders of the upcoming handset by Samsung.

The result? Well, they've just leaked early images of the inbound iPhone 7 and Sony Xperia Z6 challenger.

Despite showing off a device with a largely familiar form, there are a number of notable changes.

The handset's front-facing camera has moved to the far right of the upper edge, while the fingerprint scanner-hosting home button has been squashed down and stretched out to reduce the phone's bezel-heavy overall footprint.

However, given the Galaxy S7 images show the handset in a series of chunky cases, it's hard to gauge whether or not the phone has been put on a diet and further slimmed down.

Expected to launch in February, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly pair Qualcomm's new 64-bit Snapdragon 820 processor alongside an improved camera and Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
