Russia's OSCE envoy Alexander Lukashevich is confident that Turkey's statements on Nagorno Karabakh are destructive, ARKA reports citing Novosti-Armenia.

In an earlier statement, Ankara said it will make every effort “to return Nagorno Karabakh territories to Azerbaijan.”

“Attempts to take one of the conflicting parties’ side are destructive, and they cannot have any continuation,” Lukashevich said in a televised interview.

“Turkey will continue to support Azerbaijan in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict,” Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu said on December 3 during the joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.

He said one of the most important issues for Turkey is the “liberation of the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia.”
