The "Ghostbusters (2016)" squad is ready to hunt some phantoms in a new photo. Decked out in their uniforms, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones are seen wielding a weapon each. They are bathed in green light.

According to AceShowbiz, the female-centric reboot will revolve around Erin Gilbert (Wiig), who writes a book about ghost existence among human. She lands a faculty position at Columbia University and hunts down ghosts in Manhattan together with three other females.

Chris Hemsworth joins the cast while original stars like Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Dan Aykroyd are expected to make cameos. Directed by Paul Feig, the comedy movie is slated for a U.S. release on July 15, 2016.
