NO GOVERNMENT WILL CHANGE TURKISH POLICY TOWARDS AZERBAIJAN,TURKISH AMBASSADOR STATED
No government will change Turkish policy towards Azerbaijan. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Unal Chevikez stated it when commenting on the opportunity of mitigating Ankara's policy towards Armenia due to the change of the Turkish government. In his words, "official policy of Turkey lies in restoring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and returning the Azeri refugees to the places of their residence." Speaking of a number of projects on restoration of the Armenian-Turkish relations, being discussed in the Turkish foreign ministry, the ambassador noted that the presence of such programs was natural. "These projects are being prepared by non-governmental organizations, but they do not represent the category, which can influence the official policy of Ankara," - Chevikez said.
