Sia previews "This Is Acting" album with new song, “Broken Glass”

Before releasing her "This Is Acting" later this week, Sia Furler has previewed the album with a new song. The Australian singer/songwriter gave Zane Lowe the green light to debut "Broken Glass" on his "Beats 1" show Wednesday, January 27, AceShowbiz reports.

With a roaring chorus, this is another upbeat and empowering cut from the LP. While backed by the thunderous drums, Sia delivers inspirational message as she sings, "I'm not discarding you like broken glass/ There are no winners when the die is cast/ There's only tears when it's the final task/ So don't give up, it's just young lovers' romance."

"This Is Acting" is due out on January 29, featuring songs that Sia wrote for but rejected by other artists. Before dropping "Broken Glass", which she once said was one of the songs she felt really connected to, she has teased the album with "Alive" and "Birds Set Free" that were originally meant for Adele as well as "Cheap Thrills" and the Kanye West-produced "Reaper" that she wrote for Rihanna.
