Armenia exports down by 4%, imports drop by 26.5%

Armenia’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $4 740,8 million in 12 months of 2015, decreasing by 20,6% against the same period in 2014, the country’s National Statistical Service reports.

The exports totaled $1 487 million, down by 3.9% from last year, while imports amounted to $3 254 million, dropping by 26.5%.

Armenia’s foreign trade turnover with CIS countries amounted to $1 377 million, dropping by 19.9% against that of 2014.

The country’s trade turnover with EU countries shrank 23,7% to amount to $1 220 million.
