Apple pushes small update to its developer software Xcode

Apple has pushed a small update to its developer software Xcode, 9to5mac reports.

The update bumps the app to version 7.2.1, following the initial release of version 7.2 late last year. Xcode 7.2.1 carries the build number 7C1002 and includes a handful of under-the-hood fixes and improvements.

Apple said that a variety of bugs have been fixed with the update. Hiccups relating to the command line and debugger have been fixed, while the certificate used to developer Wallet passes, Safari Push Notifications, and Safari Extensions has also been updated.

The company said there are “additional bug fixes and stability improvements,” as well.

Fixed in Xcode 7.2.1:

• Command line tool ‘xcodebuild test’ will no longer time out waiting for Simulator.app to launch

• Resolved a debugger crash that could occur in code depending on a binary Swift library or framework

• Updated the certificate used to develop Apple Wallet passes, Safari Push Notifications, and Safari Extensions

• Additional bug fixes and stability improvements

Xcode 7.2.1 is available now on the Mac App Store.
