Japan set to donate $2.5 million worth equipment to Armenia

The government on Thursday, February 4 approved an agreement between Armenia and Japan whereby the latter will donate $2.5 million worth equipment and other means to the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.

According to Minister Armen Yeritsyan, the equipment will be used to deal with landslides. There are three thousand landslide zones in the country, of which 168 are active, he noted.
