Oscar-winner Stanley Tucci's “Final Portrait” unveils full cast

The full cast has been unveiled for Final Portrait, Oscar-winner Stanley Tucci's fifth stint in the director's chair, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Previously announced stars Geoffrey Rush and Armie Hammer will be joined by Golden Globe winner Tony Shalhoub, Clemence Poesy (Harry Potter) and Sylvie Testud (La Vie en Rose), it was unveiled Friday.

The film, adapted from James Lord's memoir A Giacometti Portrait, will see Hammer play art-lover and writer Lord, who was asked by his friend, the world-renowned Swiss artist and sculptor Giacometti (Rush), to sit for a portrait. The process, Giacometti assured Lord, would take only a few days, but in this time the story of a touching and offbeat friendship, seen through the eyes of the writer, was unraveled, offering insight into the beauty, frustration, profundity and, at times, downright chaos of the artistic process.

Shalhoub will play Giacometti's brother Diego, Poesy will star as his muse and lover, and Testud as his long-suffering wife.

The film is produced by Gail Egan (A Little Chaos, A Most Wanted Man) for Potboiler Productions, Nik Bower (Suffragette, Selma, both as an executive producer) for Riverstone Productions and Ilann Girard for Arsam International (Lebanon, I, Anna). The film will shoot for four weeks at Twickenham Studios and on location around London.
