Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman reteam for “Office Christmas Party”

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman will be back as co-stars in a new comedy from Paramount. The pair, who shared screen in "Horrible Bosses", will star in "Office Christmas Party" alongside Kate McKinnon and T.J. Miller, AceShowbiz said.

The holiday comedy was pitched by "Blades of Glory" directing duo Will Speck and Josh Gordon in 2010. The team will executive produce, direct the film and start shooting this spring in Atlanta. Paramount is aiming for December 9 release in North America.

According to THR, which was the first to report the casting, the story follows a cast of characters who have to contend with an office party gone awry. Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky and Laura Solon wrote the script while Scott Stuber, Guymon Casady and Daniel Rappaport are producing.

Aniston and Bateman last starred in "Horrible Bosses 2" while Bateman has since kept himself busy by lending his voice to Disney's animation "Zootopia". Miller starred in recent box office hit "Deadpool" while McKinnon is a star in the upcoming "Ghostbusters (2016)" reboot.
