Benedict Cumberbatch's “Doctor Strange” unveils on-set footage

It's been a while since fans got the first official look at Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange. Now, some images from the set have emerged online via Twitter user Anything Cumberbatch, offering new glimpses at the Sorcerer Supreme and Chiwetel Ejiofor's Baron Mordo, as the film continues its production in London, AceShowbiz reports.

The characters are also seen in a leaked 18-minute video by Periscope user Sanford Dickert. In it, Cumberbatch in his full Doctor Strange costume appears alongside Ejiofor, who wears his own costume with what looks like a sword strapped to his back, on the set designed to look like New York. The two rush towards a man, presumably Benedict Wong's Wong, who seems to have fallen through a window.

The video shows the preparations made by the filming crew for the scene, director Scott Derrickson directing his stars and the actors filming it. Dickert also provides some commentary in the clip, giving context of what is happening on the set.

"Doctor Strange" is slated for release in the U.S. on November 4. The film will follow Cumberbatch's acclaimed neurosurgeon Stephen Strange as he uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions after a near-fatal car accident. Also in the cast are Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One as well as Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Scott Adkins and Michael Stuhlbarg in unknown roles.
